Rattlers bats overpower Chinook staff

Chinook won the first 3 against the Pirates w/ little trouble to extend our winning streak to 19, then returned home and played 3 of the worst games I've ever seen (LOBs/DPs galore, getting shutout for 25 consecutive innings against Northcoast pitchers w/ ERAs in the 5-7 range.)

Guessing this has to be our longest win streak ever. Clicking on all cylinders right now. Hopefully saved something for these last 3 matchups.

Vs. Newark

Lot of runs for the Chinook. Havana pitching allowing 7.5 R/G this season.

G1 was one of the craziest DMB games I've played. Wichita got 4 solo HRs off of G. Cole in each of the first 4 frames. Wind chased Cole in the 4th and led 9-0 after T4. By the end of the 6th, it was all tied at 10. Chinook went on to win 12-10 and then games 2 and 3 as well.

Hey, the Chinook finally hit.

G1: Joey Votto gives everyone a preview of what he's going to do in 2021 and blasts two HRs. Mella K's Mondesi w/ the tying run on 2nd in the bottom of the 9th to get the save. SIS 5-4. G2: Another 1-run game. Eddie Rosario HRs and doubles in the first 3 frames to drive in 5 and helps stake the Rotisserie to a 5-2 lead. Chinook rally on a TRH from Biggio and Zimmer closes it out. TBC 6-5.

G1 went 16 innings and G2 was razor close as well.

Stogies may be struggling, but they can get LHB out.

TRHL Owners, Series 14 has been completed. There was a glitch w/ the FA signings (no releases were associated w/ the signings). I went ahead and added the players to the teams who picked them up, but now there are teams w/ 41 and 42 players. Conforto injured for 15 though.

Chinook drew 22 walks in the 3 games, but left most of them stranded. Kyle Finnegan picked up both Outlaw wins.

3 more close games. Chinook get clutch pinch hit HRs in G1 (Rios) and G3 (Locastro) to eke out wins. Lance Lynn was the difference in G2 Canons win.

Wind wins were both blowouts. Chinook wins were no breeze.

Enrique Hernandez had a big go-ahead HR in G4. Johnny Cueto pitched really well in G5. Garrett Richards salvaged the one win for the Chinook in G6.

Huxley wins in 1 and 6 sandwich a 4-game Chinook win streak.

Who do I see about a broken Nick Anderson.

Finishing a good April

Brandon Belt has a nice series (6-12, 3HRs, 3BBs) and the much-maligned Chinook pen seems to have stabilized.

Dominic Smith hit his 4th and 5th HRs in G6 (including the game-tying T9 shot off Nick Anderson) to erase turn a 7-0 deficit into an 8-7 Rattlers win. Not gonna lie ... that one hurt.
