Leading 4-2 with the bases loaded and no outs in the 5th, I debated taking Max Fried out with a bunch of lefty mashers coming up. At the end of the inning it was 16-5 and I thought why not one more inning, don't want the bullpen tired. Fried left with the score 18-5 after throwing 169 pitches. Portland promptly scored 11 runs but fell short with the final Maine 20, Portland 16. Portland won

For the second period in a row Portland sweeps on the road and then gives most of it back by losing two out of three at home. These results are for all 6 games they replace the earlier results posted by Jim because the wrong lineups were used. In game 1 Portland lead 10-2 going in to the bottom of the seventh. Maine added 3 runs in the bottom of the inning and 4 more in the bottom of the ninth and had the tying run on in Austin Barnes, but he was caught stealing and the final was 10-9.
