Pale Hose score 3 in the bottom of the 9th to take opener 4-3. Kuechel (4-6) and pen combine for a 3-0 shutout. Whitecaps blow out the Hose 13-4 in the series finale.

The Hose scored 5 in the first off of Bauer (4-6) powered by HRs from Acuna and Jiminez (who had 2 HRs in this game to make a winner of Skaggs (5-2) in the 8-3 opener. Gonzalez (7-5) pitches his second complete game shutout of the season out dueling Corbin (7-4) and the Breakers 3-0. On a rainy day in Maine, BDM and Kershaw (4-4) simply pounded the Hose and Gonzalez (5-4) winning 10-3.
