For the three games in Maine. Rotation is fine as set (Wainwright, Canning, Peralta). Let computer choose lineups EXCEPT if Adam Plutko is called up for some reason, then use my "v Special" lineup. Good luck!

The Whitecaps ride their arms to a sweep of the McCallions, with 5-0, 5-0 and 5-4 wins, the last one a late comeback punctuated by Trevor Story's two-run triple.

Whitecaps drop the first but then take two more from BDM, to take five of six in all. Starting to play better, slowly. The new pitchers (Canning and Dobnak) are still a problem.

Whitecaps pitching burns up again and so we give two of three back to the Heroes at home. Our MP is ready for BDM for the next series barring something very weird happening.

Whitecaps MP vs Portland. If Alec Mills is called up, or a RH reliever with lower OPS v RHP starts, please use lineup 3 "Special". Otherwise, use lineup 1 or 2 depending on pitcher hand. Starters are Kinley, Means, Tropeano.

Selected the vs lineups as best as I could for my pitchers. Halifax sweeps. Final game was very interesting as the Whitecaps hit into six double plays in eight innings (major league record is seven, only done once) and despite it managed to win 4-3. No injuries.

The Whitecaps turn the tables and sweep the Breakers in the return series 8-2, 9-4, 2-0. Thankfully no one else got hurt!? (Freeman got hurt, prompting a sudden panic, but only for the game he was playing in). Zach Davies won the middle game to go 13-2, briefly edging in front in the AL wins race. There have been several dominant pitching performances in the AL this season so far!

OK, reviewing that, it can't be right. Paddack was announced as released on July 30, and at some point he had to be released in Series 15, not 16. Paddack should be claim-eligible now.

Greg, I am reading your note about Paddack above, to mean that no claims for Paddack can be submitted in series 16, and we must wait for series 17. Is that correct?

Had to play series. Halifax take three on the road and then three one-run wins at home to close the previously yawning gap to three games. Zach Davies wins 11 and 12 to move to 12-2 on the year.
Topic: Brockton series import error
Written By: craigburley - 2 years ago
Forum: TRHL Message Board
Brockton seem to have played their series with the old file, the one from Pat's first post. When I tried to import results, it gave me several roster errors (and there were a ton of games included in the file). I don't know any solution to this. If anyone does, please speak up.

What error message doesit give when you try to import? And which league file are you using? (Attach the league file you are using to a post if you can). I note above the errors that Avery and David reported and in the meantime I will try to import myself and see what's up.

Sent this to the wrong place. Use Lineup 3 "vs Cease" for Cease and the vs LHP/RHP lineups for the other pitchers

Whitecaps sweep the three at home behind some dominant pitching. Our MP should be ready but I will confirm in S13 because the roster may change.

Halifax take 2 of 3 back from Portland. We're hanging in there. See post above for roster notes. We've tweaked the MP but will probably need a new one anyhow after the drone runs.
Topic: Whitecaps IL replacement
Written By: craigburley - 2 years ago
Forum: TRHL Message Board
A note on the Whitecaps roster moves after the series. Riley Smith is being brought back after only six games on the farm but as a replacement for John Means, who is going to the IL. (Remember everyone, under the new rule a player you farm has to spend 12 games on the minors roster, unless he is an injury replacement) Other roster changes were for other roster purposes. Smith replaces Means

It is a grim and bitter irony that I supposedly play this game "to relax". Halifax choke away the first two to the last-place Mattinglys before recovering for a win in G3.
