Game 1: Things look good for the McCallions going in to the top of the 9th, as they carry a 2-1 lead with Loaisiga taking the mound, and they look even better after he gets two quick outs. And then disaster strikes, as he loses his control, walking three of the next four, with the other guy hitting a single. And then Bender, who gets hauled in to reliever him, does no better, allowing a double

Even though I loss, I can't really complain about the outcome - Bruce's team beat the hell out of mine all regular season, and his lefty lineup was able to brutally abuse a pitching staff that was vulnerable against them. So five games, of which I won one, and two others were close, plus the amusement of actually playing head to head for the first time in a long time.

Game 1: In a "why can't we get a run off this jackass?" game, the McCallions watch in stunned silences as Tyler Anderson gets through six and two thirds innings before allowing a hit, and the BDM bullpen only allows one more after relieving him. BDM takes the opener 2-0. Game 2: This starts off feeling like a repeat of game 1, as the BDMs are up 2-0 through 6.5, but the McCallions

Game 1: NRI win 4-3. Flaherty drops to 5-11 with a 6.35 ERA for the McCallions, in what is likely his final start in an incredibly disappointing season. Game 2: Woodruff wins his 20th of the season for the NRI, as they take a 5-4 win. Game 3: A straight-up ass kicking, as the NRI score 5 off of Lorenzon in the first, and he gets his dumb ass injured in the second. NRI win 9-3, striking

Game 3: Pablo Lopez and the bullpen combine on a 5 hit shutout, as the McCallions win 6-0. Game 4: Another shutout for the McCallions as

Game 1: Some drunken idiot of a manager accidentally starts Keller, only two days after his previous start, and doesn't realize his error until his team is already down 5-1 to the French Terriers. The bullpen helps to stop the damage, and the McCallions rally to make it close, but the French Terriers hold on for a 5-4 win. Game 2: Not quite a pitcher's duel, but still a close game, the McCa

Game 1: A game that was closer than it looked, as the McCallions tag on a couple late runs to get a 6-3 win. Game 2: Just a nightmare of a game for the McCallions as they make three errors, balk in a run late, and have a guy strike out in a critical at bat on a pitch that hit them, turning what should have been a tense 9th inning into an relaxing affair for the Heroes as they take it 8-4 from

Game 2: Pablo Lopez has his good stuff, as he strikes out 12 over 6 innings, and the McCallions put in enough offense to make this feel fairly safe. Game 1: A pitchers duel, with it being all about timing. The McCallions take it 4-1, but with only 3 hits Game 2: This one looks like it's going to be a blowout, as the McCallions are up 9-2 after 6, but a bullpen implosion leads to the Breakers tying it in the top of the 8th, and only failing to take the lead because Franchy Cordero gets Valaika at home.
