MPs ready for Series 11: Pale Hose, Clowns

Games Dates: June 2nd-8th. Breakers, Whitecaps, and Rogers are away 1st half.

1st half deadline is Saturday, June 26th, 11 PM EDT. 2nd half results are due Tuesday, June 29th, 11 PM EDT.

Pirates mp

Siskiyou stays hot with a sweep of Northcoast, despite the Pirates rudeness of starting lefties when Longoria is injured.

Game One: Rotisserie 6-2. Two home runs for Pollock and Giolito goes seven strong.

Game Two: Rotisserie 2-1. Good game all around as Norris outpitches Minor.

Game Three: Rotisserie 8-4. Less good game, as the Watson out of the bullpen tries to make it a close game, but the home team holds on.

First three games

Three games all decided late, two go home squad's way.

Pale hose take two of three

Brockton bookends their two wins. MP ready for Breakers part 2.

Game 1: Dunning comes up from the minors to give Keller a break, and responds with 6 innings of 2 run ball, as the offense gives him a ton of support. Final score: 12-2 for the McCallions.

Game 2: Kikuchi throws 7+ innings of shutout ball, and Grichuk slams a 3 run homer. Final score: 5-0 for the McCallions.

Game 3: Semien walks it off in the 12th on a solo shot, as the McCallions win 3-2 to sweep the home series.

McCallions are now 21-6 over the last 4.5 series, after getting off to a "Should I just blow this all up?" start to the season.

Two well pitched games, including a Dylan Bundy CG two hitter, and one not so well pitched. Wichita goes to Havana having taken two of three.

Crescent Beach is swept at home.

It took 14 innings to conclude the opening game which the Pale Hose won 2-1 when Vazquez homered to left with 2 outs in the bottom of the innings. The 'topes came back and won the second game outhitting the Hose 13-4 and outscoring the Hose6-2. In the finale, the Pale Hose squeaked by 4-3. [Hoerner was injured for this game and 32 more days.]

McCallion visits Alston on back end of home and home. Terriers offense likes playing in Fenway as they take 3 by scores of 9-4, 7-4, 6-4. Home team homers 7 times to visitors 2 dingers.

Chinook drew 22 walks in the 3 games, but left most of them stranded. Kyle Finnegan picked up both Outlaw wins.

A note on the Whitecaps roster moves after the series. Riley Smith is being brought back after only six games on the farm but as a replacement for John Means, who is going to the IL.

(Remember everyone, under the new rule a player you farm has to spend 12 games on the minors roster, unless he is an injury replacement)

Other roster changes were for other roster purposes. Smith replaces Means.

Halifax take 2 of 3 back from Portland. We're hanging in there. See post above for roster notes. We've tweaked the MP but will probably need a new one anyhow after the drone runs.

BDM wins the first two in blowouts before the Anunnaki win a close one in the finale. No injuries.

A frustrating first two games as Rogers blow leads to lose. Rogers come back in the 3rd game down 1-0 to win, helped by a Bryce Harper HR.
