chinook take 2 of 3 versus newark

NRIs take 2 of 3. Garret Cooper hit 4 HRs in game 2. Jake Cronenworth made the final out in the bottom of the 8th, preventing Cooper from getting a chance to hit number 5. Cooper added a HR in game six to give him six HRs for the series.

Forsyth leaves Wichita in the dust with a convincing three game sweep...

First three

Rattlers sweep at home

Game 1 - Alonso and Gyorko both hit 2 homers as the Anunnaki cruise 7-1. Game 2 - In a display of DMB reflecting reality, deGrom pitches a gem but doesn't get the win, as Santander ties it in the 9th with a HR and then Alonso hits his second homer of the game to walk it off in the 10th. Game 3 - The Rogers pen blows a great Kershaw start, but Harper and Peraza homer in the tenth to lead Rocket to a 8-4 win. Michael Wacha got hurt and will miss the next 3 weeks.

In a morbid way, Michael Perez is having a fascinating season. He is 1 for 44 on the year, for a very slick .023 average.

Heroes take two of three in a hard-fought series, winning 3-2, losing 4-3, and winning 8-4 (in the 11th).

Please use the computer manager to select both starting pitchers and lineups.

Alston wins twice.

Pale Hoe win opener easily 10-1; drop middle game 5-1 and take the finale 6-5 in the 11th thanks to an Anderson lead off HR. No injuries ... onto Halifax ...

Finishing a good April

Whitecaps lose two more (thankfully pulled out the last one) and are not happy with a struggling 14-16 April. Peralta hurt for us.

Clowns sweep.

Rogers sweep, getting two come-from-behind-walkoff-wins in the bottom of the 9th.

Rattlers take 5.

Teams split the series, with visitors taking four of six.

Rotisserie stays hot, taking two of three on the road in the first half, and sweeping at home.

Mostly close games, with one real blowout 7-1, and another close almost blowout, with the Siskiyou bullpen trying their damndest to make it close, turning an 8-1 blowout to an 8-5 win. The loss comes in a brutal bottom of the 12th play where with runners on the corners and two outs Longoria fields a hard grounder and for some reason decides to throw home instead of going for the double play. Runner safe, game over. The 8-5 win was sealed with a double play ball played correctly, so at least we learned from our mistake.

MP ready for Thunder Bay to come to Siskiyou.

Edit: Forgot that Longoria is out for the next six. Probably have to DL him. Regardless he will not be facing Thunder Bay.
