2019 Series 25
Greg Tamer - September 03, 2020 01:48AM
TRHL Owners,

Series 24 has been completed.

1. You can expand active rosters.
2. All players signed cannot be retained.
3. Our salary cap increases to $410 and our roster size increases to 50 but these increases are only available if you need players to fulfill the obligation of a minimum of 25 players on your active roster.

REMINDER - For this season only (at least), batters with at least 100 PA vs. LHP are not subject to the 150% PT limit for strong side split. This applies to both AL and NL teams, though it's unlikely few/many players in the NL with at least 100 PA will even reach 150% PT vs LHP.

Re: 2019 Series 25 MP ready for Portland
French Terriers - September 04, 2020 10:54PM
Somehow including two pickoffs at second base Brockton manages to win 2 0f 3. Both pickoffs came after a wild pickoff throw sent the runner to second. Each one on an immediate pick off try after the wild throw.
The pitchers did have good moves. I wondered if that mattered for second base pickoff attempts. Also I did notice the computer manager holding on runners with all poor running ratings. I checked and the manager profile was set for less holding so I am at a loss there.

Terriers and Anunnaki first 3
Michael cradock - September 05, 2020 07:02PM
UCity takes a back and forth game 1 on a walk off walk to Blackmon. Nelson Cruz hits a three run homer in the ninth of game 2 to give Alston a 7-4 victory. Mike Fiers and a couple of 6th inning homers lead the Anunnaki to the series win, prevailing 5-2. Pineda, Snell, and Lucchesi (who should be healed by then) start for UCity in the back half. Thanks.

G1: Kepler w/ 3 run HR in first and Sonny Gray makes it hold up. TBC 8-2.
G2: Tanaka pitches great but tires late and Magneuris Sierra walkoff 1B wins it. TBC 4-3.
G3: Chirinos goes 7 and K's 10 allowing only 1 run. Conforto early bomb is enough. TBC 4-1.

Whitecaps at Pale Hose
JiminMaine - September 07, 2020 09:07PM
Starting in Halifax, in the opener a 4 run 7th inning featuring HRs by Vazquez, Acuna and Merrifield powered the Pale Hose and Lopez (13-6) to a 7-4 victory. Nunez (4 for 5 with 3 RBI) and Ozuna (2 for 3 with 5 RBI) lead the Whitecaps to a 12-6 blowout win. Acuna goes 3 for 5 with 2 HR and 4 RBI leading the Hose and Gonzales (17-6) to a 6-2 win. [Cron was injured for this game and 25 more days.]

Moving to Maine, the Whitecaps outscore the Pale Hose 4-3 in the 9th inning but the Hose go on to win 9-8. Apparently thoroughly pissed off, the Whitecaps and Scherzer (14-6) blow out the Pale Hose 11-4. In the series finale the Hose score 2 in the 9th to tie (another Acuna HR) and 1 in the 10th to win 4-3.

The Pale Hose MP is set for series 25 against a very good U City squad.
