It was an absolutely incredible series, two great teams tearing lumps out of each other. Bruce's Portland team is incredibly well-built and I had to manage my butt off just to get to 3-1 down. Game 4 was a crusher, as Halifax coughed up a lead and lost the game in extra innings.
But the Whitecaps kept hitting and kept scratching and clawing and won the last three straight including the last two in Portland, and won the ALCS 4 games to 3.
If I can I will update with game summaries. I have played some great series in this league, against guys like Aaron Gleeman and Chris Conley, but Bruce is maybe the best GM and manager I've ever matched up with and the pressure is huge on me to win the next series too. Thanks to him.
