Series 23 has been completed.

NOTE - Now that we're in September, all players hereafter (but not listed below) signed cannot be retained in the off-season. Again, those signed below can be retained for next season. Also, any player signed hereafter cannot be on a post-season roster.

REMINDER - It's 25 IP minimium for pitchers, 75 PA for batters to be on the active roster, even with the replacement level system in use (for catchers now; all players in September).

The trade deadline has passed.

All players can now be used beyond 110%/150% but with the replacement level system enabled.

Automatic farmings due to overuse: None! Replacement-level system is enabled!

Any promotions by the file drone can be changed prior to the playing of the current series' games, and the re-farming does not acount toward the three farm limit. File drone promotes to players to ensure active roster is at mandatory minimum 25 (maximum 26) players.

Also, I'm not worrying about promoting a player if team drops to 25 active. I'll do something if active roster goes below 25 men.

Whitecaps manage to take two from the Breakers, dropping the first one and squeezing out the last two. Still an exciting race with the Pale Hose...

Outlaws MP for Canons.

Canons pile on the runs in games one and two - not the Outlaw staff we are used to - then game three becomes a nailbiting contest. Leading 5-3 after 6, Corpus Christi keeps Lynn in to pitch the 7th. He gives up one run - not too bad as he at least hands over a save opportunity to the bullpen.

Evan Marshall and his 1.03 ERA for CCC takes the ball to pitch the 8th. He earns himself a BS as he gives up two runs. Canons come to bat trailing by a run and, with two outs, runners on first and third, the manager chooses Goldschmidt to pinch hit despite suspecting he is hitting at replacement level. Goldy drives in two with a double that he tries unsuccessfully to turn into a triple. We will forgive him this one. Hector Neris earns the save and Canons scrape home with the sweep.

Portland takes 2 of 3. Afterwards giving Juan Soto (prone) and Garret Cooper(very prone) the rest of the regular season off, so they can't be hurt going in to the playoffs.

For Portland at Higglytown let the computer manager pick the starting pitchers, please use the following lineups:

May - RHP hurt RHB
Hill - LHP hurt LHB
Bieber - RHP hurt LHB

Game 1: Some drunken idiot of a manager accidentally starts Keller, only two days after his previous start, and doesn't realize his error until his team is already down 5-1 to the French Terriers. The bullpen helps to stop the damage, and the McCallions rally to make it close, but the French Terriers hold on for a 5-4 win.

Game 2: Not quite a pitcher's duel, but still a close game, the McCallions take a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 5th, and then the bullpens ensure no one else scores for the rest of the game.

Game 3: The McCallions offense unloads on Sandoval, smashing five homers off of him, and a sixth off of Staumont for good measure, on their way to a 10-3 victory.

Please use Lopez, Dunning, and Loaiza as starting pitchers, and let the computer manager select lineups.

Guessing this has to be our longest win streak ever. Clicking on all cylinders right now. Hopefully saved something for these last 3 matchups.

The pitching sucks, but there are still a few hitters around, and it's still Coors.

BDM gets outscored 20-16, but manages to take 4 of 6, paced by Zach Wheeler who allows just one run in 17 IP to cement his lead in the AL Cy Young race. 200 IP, 15-6 2.25 ERA for a last place team. Robbie Ray, on the other hand, goes to 0-22, 11.60 ERA, 48 HR allowed. I may have to cut him.

Alston takes 4 of 6 from UCity. No injuries.

Full week results for Siskiyou v Wind.

Wind wins Game One (on a 9th inning walk off), but Siskiyou takes the next two. My hitters bailed out an over-extended Buehler in Game Two by scoring a thousand runs (approx).

Siskiyou sweeps at home (but almost lost game three in the 9th...).

MP not ready for the Outlaws next week. Need to do some late season tweaking.
